He is survived by : his son John Franklin Tidwell; his grandsons, John Kory Tidwell and Joseph Tidwell; and his great grandchildren, Jacob William Tidwell of Savannah, Georgia., Colin Hayes Tidwell of Savannah, Georgia. and Paige Riley Tidwell of Savannah, Georgia..
