He is survived by: his wife Mary Miller Bruce; his children, Eric Alan Bruce (August) and Tena Gaye Niceswanger (Tim Parrish); his sister Doris Averill; and his grandchildren, Justin Niceswanger and Emily Bruce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
