With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Horace J. Kilgore Sr. of Flowery Branch, Georgia, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Kilgore and Alice Kilgore; his wife Mazie H. Kilgore; and his siblings, James Kilgore (Ruby), E. H., Red Kilgore (Margaret), High Kilgore (Grace), Carrie Mae Kilgore, Hazel Beck (L. C.), Carolyn Mauldin (Lyman) and Margaret Patton (A. T.).
He is survived by: his children, Howard Kilgore, Harold Kilgore (Sharon), Mary Ann McDonald (Scott) and Horace Kilgore, Jr. (Alice). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park South Cemetery (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
