He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jett and Dorothy Jett (Tuttle); his siblings, Frank Jett and Jill Jett; his parents-in-law, J. T. and Helen Hoke; and his brother-in-law Jim Hoke.
He is survived by: his wife Rayetta Jett (Hoke) of Flowery Branch; his daughter Jill Jett Parker; his son-in-law Jerome of Auburn; his grandson Jacob of Atlanta; his siblings-in-law, Max, Diana Hoke of Lafayette and Darlene "Dee" Hoke of Terre Haute; his nephews, Jonathon Hoke (Erin) of Lafayette and Tim Hoke (Kathy) of Indianapolis; and his niece Ericka Hoke Smith (Greg) of Deland, Florida..
