It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Maxine Powell (Fort Gaines, Georgia), who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mack Hardwick and Mary; and her brother Mickey Wayne Hardwick. She is survived by: her husband Arthur H. Powell, Sr.; her son Arthur H. Powell, Jr. (Sandy); her grandsons, Parker Powell and Eli Powell; her brother William Scott Hardwick (Connie); and her sister-in-law Catherine Hardwick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
