She was predeceased by : her husband Roy Edward Tapley; her parents, Gordon Massey and Katie Mae Thomas Massey; her children, Sherry Tapley and Gerry Tapley; her siblings, Glen Massey and Jenetta Wallace; and her great grandchild Blake Harris.

She is survived by : her son Roy Tapley Jr.; her brother Howard Massey (Sherry); her grandchildren, Stacy Harris (Jeff), Michael Tapley (Medley), Misty Merriman (David), Roy Tapley III, Sabrina Tapley and Reya Tapley; her great grandchildren, Alex Harris of Chloe Harris, J. C, Teague, Devon Callahan, Brayden Callahan, Krimsen Merriman and Landon Merriman; and her close friend Polly Stone.
