He is survived by : his parents, Johnnie L. Meherg Sanford of Ringgold, GA and Roy Eugene Sanford Sr. (Norma) of Scottsboro, AL; his siblings, Faith Goodman (Mike), Grace Bush (Billy) and Andy Sanford; and his stepdaughters, Courtney Harrell (Matt), Carli Schoettler (Kevin), Whitney Bailey (David) and Meghan Paulhamus. He is also survived by 5 nephews, 6 great neices, and 1 great nephew, along with a multiude of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
