He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnie Dubberly and Tavie Bradford Dubberly; his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Dubberly; and his brother Bobby Dubberly. He is survived by: his children, Fred Dubberly (Rheta) of Glennville and Diane Smith (Jimmy) of Vidalia, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Lee Dubberly (Jessica), Amanda Thompson (Drew), Shanna Tanner (Dan) and James-Michael Smith. He is also survived by Seven Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
