He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Durrence and Toy Omena Durrence; his wife Naomi "Peaky" Durrence; his sons, Randy and Joey Durrence; and his siblings, Robert Durrence and Mathadeen Kicklighter.
He is survived by: his children, Shanda Medlin (Pete) of Reidsville, Mark Durrence of Glennville and Mindy James (Anthony) of Reidsville; his brother Jesse Durrence of Glennvile; his close friend Tammi Marcum of Glennville; and also Adel Oliver of Collins. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
