He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hope and Ollie Beamon May; and his siblings, Henry Hope May Jr., Robert May and Dorothy Tugwell.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn May of Glennville; his stepson Jeff Moye (Kelly) of Ohio; and his sister Juanita Taylor of North Carolina. He is also survived by 4 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Glennville First United Pentecostal Church.
