She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Mixon and Martha Mixon. She is survived by: her husband Richard Blanton of Glennville; her children, Teresa McCullough (Glenn) of Macon, Vickie Kersey (Danny) of Glennville, Joyce Flowers (Kent) of Glennville and William R. Blanton Jr. of Richmond Hill; her brother Jimmy Mixon (Dianne) of Lyons; her grandchildren, Susan Jarriel (Kelly) of Macon, Marie Carter (Chris) of Cobbtown, Crystal Griffin (David) of Glennville and Justin Flowers (Tori) of Glennville; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Blanton of Glennville and Virgina Blanton of Jesup. She is also survived by Eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to American Diabetes Association or the Gideons International.
