It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Lee Futch of Glennville, Georgia, born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Blocker and Hattie Johnson Blocker; her husband Abrin E. Futch, Sr.; her siblings, Vera Dunham, Grace Mitchum, Eunice DuRose and Carlos Blocker; her grandchildren, Kevin Futch, Katrina Futch and Robert Futch, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Chandler Smith and Yadira Durrence; and her great great grandchild Mayla Proman.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Ramsey Johnson (Billy) of Claxton, Diane Norris of Glennville, Leanne DeLoach of Glennville, Ellis Futch, Jr. (Deborah) of Ludowici, Kelvin Futch (Cathy) of Ludowici and Michael Futch of Glennville, Georgia.; and her sisters, Jean Gumm of Glennville and Fifteen. She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
