With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Montez Johnson Edge (Glenwood, Georgia), who passed away on February 21, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Vernon L. Edge of Glenwood; her parents, Frank James Johnson and Charity Lounette Horne; her son Donnie Edge; and her grandson Dennis Edge.

She is survived by : her children, David Edge of Glenwood, Denise Johnson of Glenwood and Dennis Edge of Glenwood; her sisters, Patsy Floyd of Brunswick, GA and Bernice Griffin of Brunswick, GA; her grandchildren, Angie Hooks (Wayne), Sabrina Coleman (Brandon), Lamar Edge and Kendra Pickle (Dale); and her great grandchildren, Brynna Coleman, Brylen Goss, Gracie Edge, Bradley Edge, Elaina Edge, Peyton Pickle, Denton Pickle, Kelton Pickle, Weston Pickle and Keaton Pickle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Born in Coffee County, she was one of eight children born to the late Frank James Johnson and Charity Lounette Horne.
