She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father William Robert; her brother William Robert Loflin, Jr.; her daughter Susan Phillips Matthews (Ryan); her grandchildren, Brewer and Macy of Salida, Colorado; her daughter Jennifer Blanchard McCoy (Peter); her grandchildren, Mae Loflin, Lucy and Peter of Charleston; her son John Thomas Phillips, III (Gilchrist); her grandchildren, Ballou and Mary Holmes of Augusta; and her siblings, Jeanette Loflin Shackelford (Jim) of Tryon and William Pierce Loflin (Kim) of Beaufort.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Episcopal Convent of St. Helena.
