He was predeceased by: his parent Oliver Erastus Greene; his son Benjamin Walter Greene, Jr; his brother Oliver E. Greene, Jr; and also, Little Walter and Little Oliver.
He is survived by: his parent Mildred Lois Greene; his wife Shirley Rowland Greene; his sons, Terry Greene (Martha) and Michael Greene (Beverly); his grandchildren, Jason Greene (Elizabeth) of Gray, Kevin Greene of Gray, Sidney Greene Sears of Gray, Sandy Greene of Gray and Chelsea Evans of Gray; his great grandchild Brooklynn Sears of Gainesville; and his sister Sue Greene Benson of Forsyth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
