She was predeceased by: her parents, C. B. Amerson and Pearl Amerson; her husband Robert Jerry Tidwell; her great grandchild Robert Andrew Moody; and her siblings, Shirley Reid, Earline Johnson, Dennis Amerson and Charles "Bob" Amerson.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Mertens James Gibson (Herman) and Terry Yates (Ami); her grandchildren, Crissy Price (Jodi), Casey Birdsong (Travis), Alicia Kelleher (Daniel) and Josh Gibson; her great grandchildren, Josh, Jake, Brooklyn, Michael, Kylie, Emma, Anna, Emily, Caleb, Hunter and Trevor; her stepchildren, Robert Tidwell, Susan Tidwell and Ken Mullis; and her sister-in-law Carrie Amerson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
