He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Herman Rowland and Mildred Jimmie Bush Rowland; and his sister June Wynn. He is survived by: his children, Charles E. "Chuck" Rowland, Jr., Amy Godwin and Michelle Livingston (Nathan); his friend Jo Ann Smith; and his sisters, Sue Walsh (Grady), Judy Bennett (David), Joyce Cochran, Faye Mahone, Linda Combs (Scott), Evelyn Armstrong (Sam) and Ann Garland. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
