He was predeceased by: his grandson Jake Malone; and his siblings, James Glenn Hobby, Jr., Freda Wilson and Margie Frost. He is survived by: his wife Janet West Hobby; his children, Denise "Denny" Bare (Tony) of Lizella, Paula Malone (Eddie) and Jan Beck (Ricky) of Gray, GA; his grandchildren, Jesse Malone of Gray, GA, Ashley Cochran of Gray, GA and Tyler Beck (Kadi) of Gray, GA; his great grandchildren, Presley Cochran of Gray, GA, Liam of Gray, GA, Luke of Gray, GA and Lexi Kate Beck of Gray, GA; his sisters, Ida Kaye Cone (Ronnie) of Macon and Elaine Arias of Cumming, GA; and also Regina "Ricks" Rooks of Milledgeville, GA.
