He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Windsor Byers, Sr. and Patricia Gail Shaw Byers; and his sister Jan Byers. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Byers of Jones County; his children, Dustin Byers (Brooke) of Bostic, NC, Danielle Vanhoy (Jason) of Ellenboro and Kollin Byers (Morgan) of Bostic; his stepchildren, Stephanie Mikus (Joe) of Mount Pleasant and Stephen Cockrell (Shawni) of Gray; his grandchildren, Jade, Riley, Mabree, Grayli, Sophia, Salem, Alex, Aiden, Channing and River; his siblings, Derek Shaw (Denita) of Boiling Springs and Lisa Byers Holland (Roger) of Shelby; his pets, Rudy and Sugar; and also Riverside Ford.
