He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Scott DuPree and Claire DuPree; his grandparents, Jimmy, Alma DuPree, Lawson and Mattie Bostick; his wife Cheryl; his children, Stacy Johnson of Gray, Matthew DuPree of Macon and Preston DuPree of Gray; his grandchildren, Breanna Johnson and Gregory Johnson of Gray; his siblings, Deborah Casteen (Felix), Cynthia Bell, Randy DuPree (Penny) of Gordon, Georgia and Timothy DuPree (Renee) of Gordon, Georgia; and his brother-in-law Bill "Pooter" Evans of Gray. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
