She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Myrtle Waits Henderson and Stan Thornton; her husband Stan Thornton of Gray; her sons, Tim Thornton of Gray and Chris Thornton (Belinda) of Macon; her grandchildren, Jennifer Morris (Tony) of Gray, Jamie Thornton of Gray, Madison Hughes, McKenzie Rogers of Gray, Nikki Stephens of Macon, Melisa Thompson (Nick) of Jackson, Georgia, Jamie Stephens (Crystal) of Jesup and Doug Turner (Stacey) of Macon; her great grandchildren, Kyler Morris of Gray, Desirae Willis of Macon, Mylee Willis of Macon, Andrew McCary of Jackson, Alex McCary of Jackson, Amelia Thompson of Jackson, Leanna Powell of Macon, Bentley, Brooklyn Turner of Macon, Ciara, Bryce and Tatum Stephens of Gray; and her close friend Christy Foskey.
