He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wirt Buckey and Frances Lucille Wardlow Buckey; and his sister Shirley Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Harriett Buckey of Gray; his children, Stephen M. Buckey of Fort Worth and Kristine E. Blocker (Chip) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Darren Blocker (Justine) of Austin and Taryn Blocker of Louisville, Kentucky; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Berry (Steve) of St Augustine and Suzanne Johnson (Jeff) of Gray; and his stepgrandchildren, Eli Reinhardt of St. Augustine and Ella Johnson of Gray.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bradley Baptist Church, 821 Monticello Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032.
