It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Elizabeth Smith of Gray, Georgia, born in Cochran, Georgia, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Idus T. Smith and Laura Ann Nobles Smith; her husband Jimmy Tucker; and her siblings, Margaret Katherine and Thomas E. Smith.
She is survived by: her son Wesley Bridgers (Candace); her siblings, Gloria White Ennis, Juanita Hall (Larry), Annie Mae White and Idus David Smith (Cheryl); and her grandchildren, Lacey Hancock, Sarah Hancock, Tyler Bridgers (Anna) and Hannah Bridgers. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
