She was predeceased by: her husband James Franklin Johnson; her children, Charles Johnson, Mary Faye Johnson, Ricky Johnson and Michael Johnson; and her sisters, Martha Lee Williford and Nell Hubbard.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Edward McElhannon, Ruby Arnold, Sallie Mae Arnold and Dorothy Calloway. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
