She was predeceased by: her former husband Larry E. Shiflett; her husband Joe Wingo; her parents, Emmett Whitaker and Lurlene Whitaker; and her siblings, Eunice Faye Whitaker, Annette Sledge, Diane Maddox, Joseph (Joe), Bobby, James and Ronald.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Tina) and Chuck Shiflett (Jill); her grandchildren, Alan Shiflett (Alicia), Kevin Shiflett, Kelsey Studdard (Justin) and Zac Shiflett (Lindsey); her great grandchildren, David Shiflett, Emily Shiflett, Harper, Hazel Studdard and Josie Shiflett; her sister Betty Frazier; and also Randy Whitaker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
