He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Hershel Garrett and Pearl Tapley Garrett; and his son Jewell Clinton Garrett, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gerry C. Garrett; his children, Sherry Lowrimore (John) and Timothy Garrett (Inez); his grandchildren, Taylor Dunn and April Pilgrim of Tony Pilgrim; and his great grandchild Hudson Dunn.
