She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Bryant Smith and Mary Smith; and her siblings, Betty Jean Morgan, Gloria Ann McGahee, Annie Ruth Lewis and Jimmy F. Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Dereak Bryant Eppinger (Danielle) and Brandon Shane Batton; her grandson Justin Eppinger; and her sister Hazel Conkle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
