We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2018, at the age of 77, Gloria Jean Godfrey (Griffin, Georgia), born in Albany, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria Jean Godfrey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Godfrey; her parents, William A. and Lacey Ricks; and her grandson William Beasley. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa and Wendy; her sons-in-law, Teresa Booker, Bobby Booker, Wendy Beasley and Chuck Beasley; her grandchildren, Christopher Black, John Booker, Connor Beasley and Laura Baker; her siblings, Janice Parr, Sharon Noel (David) and William A. "Billy" Ricks, Jr. (Nell); and her friends, Mike Baker and Jan Baker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Calvin Center Equestrian Program, a faith-based organization whose mission is to provide Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies for the community, in memory of Gloria Godfrey, Calvin Center 13550 Woolsey Rd, Hampton, GA, 30228.
