He was predeceased by: his father James Degunion; his son Joseph L. Degunion, Jr.; and his sister Angela Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Katrina Degunion; his children, Brett Shirley, Lenna Degunion (Colton Colwell) and Shadoe Degunion; his stepchildren, Stephen McLaughlin, Alicia McLaughlin and Bridget Whitmire (Hunter); his grandchildren, Donovan Highland, Shadoe Degunion, Jr., Nevaeh Degunion, Liliana Colwell, Charlee Shirley and Frankee Shirley; his mother Charlene Neill (Freddie); and his siblings, Timothy Whitted, Lanny Martin, Lisa Moore, Randy Moore, Tony Shipp, Michael Shipp (Nicole) and Randall Shipp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
