She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Thomas Young and Mary Elizabeth Mangham Young; her daughter Melodie Watkins; and her siblings, Leroy Harper, Young Harper, Charles Harper, Patsy Whiten, Shirley Parker, Daisy Harper and Gloria Norris.
She is survived by: her husband Earnest Watkins; her children, Sandra Hampton (Jeff), Johnny Watkins and Christy Goodman (Ben); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Hampton, Bethany Goodman and Grace Goodman; her great grandchildren, Daniel Hampton, Katie Hampton and Brettley Hampton; and her sisters, Tiny Almond and Brenda Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
