He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Carter Saxon; his sons, Joshua Richard Saxon (Megan Jane) and Christopher Jorden Saxon; his grandchildren, McKenzie Jane Saxon and Scarlett Kate Saxon; his sibling Louis Saxon; and also Betsy Ross Saxon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
