He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Chappell, Sr. and Mable Howard Chappell Heun. He is survived by: his wife Linda Brett Chappell; his children, Brett (Laura), Lara (Pascal Fontez), Ted (Sharon) and Carrie; and his grandchildren, Henry, Annie, Lily, Pierre, Justin, Sarah, Robert, Jackson, Amanda and Savannah.
