She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim D. Mitchell and Willie Ruth Mitchell; and her sisters, Nancy Mitchell, Cathy Strickland and JoAnn Mitchell.

She is survived by: her siblings, James and Linda Babb of Sarah Whitehead; her child Sherry Rodriquez of Shannon Gaines; and her grandchild Anthony Rodriquez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
