Melvin, Jr.; his significant other Hannah Jarvis; his stepdaughter Haley Morgan Storey (William) of Thomaston; his parents, Harvey Thomas Melvin of Barnesville and Yvonne Cooper Melvin of Barnesville; his sister René Melvin Dumas (Robert) of Atlanta; his nieces, Sarah Dumas Emmert (Myles) of Buckhead and Caroline Dumas of Columbus Ohio; his grandson James Storey; and also, John Christopher Melvin, Madison Leigh Bertelsbeck and Ansley Emmert.
