She was predeceased by: her parents, Machen Rachels and Bertha Rachels; her sisters, Mildred Layton, Sadie Swint and Lanette Garrett; and her husband Arthur W. Nyman, Sr..
She is survived by: her son Arthur "Art" W. Nyman, Jr. (Lori) of Griffin; her sister Helen Robinson of Sandersville; her grandchildren, Scott Nyman, Jennifer Osse (Kevin) and Walt Nyman (Patricia); and her great grandchildren, Olivia Osse, Jillian Osse, Nicolas Nyman, Tucker Nyman and Auburn Nyman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
