He is survived by: his fiancée Kellie Womack; his son Jeremy Sampler; his siblings, Regina Sampler, Carol Sampler Castile, Kenneth Eugene Sampler, Lee Hambrick and Susan Hambrick Mims; and his stepsister Judy Thompson (Barry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
