Wendell Bateman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Bateman (Griffin, Georgia), who passed away on September 28, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Bateman and Iona Pace Bateman; his wife Zelma Jenkins Bateman; and his brothers, Travis Bateman and Donnie Bateman.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Lou Sims and Arthur Sims (Linda); and his siblings, Perry Bateman (Sara), Elene Johnson (Jimmy), Brenda Creamer (Jerry), Carolyn Kory (Richard), Carol Sorrow, Doris Scott, Linda Walston and Melba Roland. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
