He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rodney, Rosetta Birong and Melvis Strickland; and his uncles, Troy Birong and Todd Strickland.
He is survived by: his parents, Shawn Birong and Teresa Birong; his sister Taylor Johnson (Walker); his sibling's children, Brooks Johnson and Wren Johnson; his grandfather Ed Strickland; his aunt Janet Costello; his uncle Paul Strickland; and his cousins, Brittany Jacobs (Cory), Courtney Costello, Summer Costello and Seth Birong.
Pallbearers will be Newt Barnes, Matthew Brantley, Steve Rheaume, Richard Costello, AJ Doak, and Joshua Rivers, In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to make donations to the American Heart Association.
