It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Clyde Ledford (Hamilton, Georgia), who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barnett Ledford and Sarah Dimple Bramblett Ledford; and his wife Mary Anna "Louise" Ledford. He is survived by: his children, Pam Benson and Scott; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Ledford; his daughter Kim; his son-in-law Tim Dailey; his brother Quentin Bramblett of Dalton; his grandchildren, Shawn Benson, Garrett Benson, Jacob Ledford, Savannah Lawson, Jordan Lawson, Tucker Dailey and Chelsea Young; his great grandchild Elaina Lawson; and his close friends, Bobby, Hazel Parks and Pat Gallman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church c/o Pat Timms at 718 Fox Bridge Road Dalton, GA 30721 or to the Murray County disaster relief fund to benefit the victims of the recent tornadoes.
