She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Will West and Melissa Peace West; her siblings, Emily Futch, Pearl Sams and Billy West; and her son Wayne Roberson.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbur; her children, Robert A. Self (Denise) of Five Points, AL and Martha Burpitt (Bill) of Chapel Hill, NC; and her grandchildren, Melissa Jeska (Todd) of Roswell, GA, Amy Henry (Track) of Alpharetta, GA, Andrew Self (Wendy) of Monticello, GA, Brent Bailey (Paige) of Washington, GA, Steven Bailey (Beth) of Fayetteville, GA, Heather Grimmer (Ray) of Douglasville, GA and Will Burpitt of Chapel Hill, NC. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID there will be no formal visitation but if you would like to come by on Wednesday from 12:00pm until 5:00pm and pay your respects and sign the guest registry you may do so.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
