He is survived by : his wife Marion Caldwell West; his sons, Chet West and Dean (Lisa West); his granddaughters, Taylor (Kristofer Sargent), Savana West and Sara (Anthony Perez); his great grandchildren, Jaxon Sargent, Blakely Sargent, Westlynn Perez and Aurora Perez; and his nieces and nephews, Rhonda (Bob Reed), Brenda (Dennis Paquin), Marketa West, Debra (Cliff Summerall), Bill (Rose West), Hank (Teresa Bolton) and Celeste (Mike Daniel).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at http://www.curethekids.org.
