She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Hawthorne; and her brothers, Gerald and James Burke. She is survived by : her children, Tiffany "Dinkie" Starnes (Roy Murray, III) and RJ Starnes (Teresa); her sisters, Elizabeth Oglesby (Allen) and Judy Bennett (Nathan); and her grandchildren, Raheem, Tykeria, Aleisha Murray, Tiffany and Ryan Starnes.
