It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Opal Dillard of Harlem, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 85, on December 22, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Preston Dillard; and her parents, Raymond Jones and Hazel Jones. She is survived by : her children, James R. Dillard (Leslie Ann), Barbara J. Banning (Michael), Jamie A. Mims (Greg) and Faye Knight (late Timothy Knight); her brother L. C. Jones; her grandchildren, Marcus Banning (Michelle), Jeff Mims, Kelleye Kowal (Justin), Lance Davis (Michelle), James L. Dillard, Erika Herrin (Dylan) and Ciara Dillard; and her great grandchildren, Shawn Banning, Alexis Banning, Preston Banning, Andrew Banning, Aiden Timothy Dillard, Saul Joseph Davis, Daisy JoAnn Davis, Mackenzie Kowal and Colton Kowal.

We ask all guests and family members attending the visitation and services to practice social distancing and if medically able, wear a mask.
