It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Singletary Simpson (Hartsfield, Georgia), born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on January 16, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Singletary and Juanita Pope Singletary; and her siblings, Johnny Singletary and Judy Allen. She is survived by: her husband Mike Simpson of Hartsfield; her children, Laurie Ann Pitts, Lofton of Register, GA, Michelle Wright, Stacey of Ochlocknee, GA, Emma Moore and Josh of Leesburg, GA; her grandchildren, Quinn Pitts, Hattie Pitts, Gable Pitts, Garner Pitts, Brooke Wright, Logan Wright and Zoey Moore; and her sister Patricia Manning of Hartsfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
