She was predeceased by: her parents, James Emory Cox and Avie Alligood Cox; her husbands, Henry Levell Gay and Hugh Hill Rizer; her son Jeffery Gay; and her siblings, Juanita Cox, William Cox, Joe Cox, Pete Cox, Jimmy Cox, Jerry Cox, Jack Cox and Lenda Cox Todt.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Gay (Miriam), LaDon Gay (Renee), Sherri Feinstein (Fred) and Christie Banks; her grandchildren, Britini Bullard (Paul), Brandon Gay (Laura Tucker), Kimberly Wingo (Justin), Jeffrey Feinstein (Carolina Barraque), Dr. Samantha Feinstein and Landon Bland; her great grandchildren, Hayden Bullard, Hudson Bullard, Lena Grace Bullard, Flint Gay, Mason Spradlin, Avie Spradlin, Colt Wingo, Remington Wingo, Jacob Bibeault and Jolie Bibeault; and her siblings, Barbara Bass (Hubert), Edna Williams (Idus), Glenda Coalson and Julius Cox. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Oak Grove Baptist Church or to Colquitt Regional Hospice.
