With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Bassett Franklin of Hawkinsville, Georgia, born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on August 3, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Bassett and Annie Ruth Hardison Bassett; and her husband Donald Eldon Franklin. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Josh, Rachel and Callie; her children, Cal Franklin (Trina), Teresa Miller (Mike) and Susan Franklin; and her siblings, William Hardison Bassett, Minna Bassett, Shirley Bassett and Caro Bassett. She is also survived by three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
