He was predeceased by : his parents, Jessie Erwin and Betty Jane Haynes Boyd; and his grandparents, Ida Belle Haynes and George Betton Haynes. He is survived by : his siblings, George Andrew Boyd (Carol), Christopher Erwin Boyd (Cindy), Dewayne Haynes Boyd (Edna) and Kathryn B. Simmons (Chris). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
