It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rory James Wood Jr. of Hawkinsville, Georgia, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his son Rory James Wood, III of Cochran; his parents, Rory James Wood, Sr. of Cochran and Teresa Sheffield of Eastman; his sister Dixie Dawn "D. D." Thigpen (Chris) of Cochran; his half-siblings, D. J. Sheffield and Mollie Sheffield; and his nieces, Gracie and Savannah. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
