He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Winifred Carter Hamm of Hazlehurst; his children, LaDonna Sellers Overstreet (Donnie) of Hazlehurst, Greg Hamm of Hazlehurst and Ted Hamm of Hazlehurst; his brother Jerry Hamm (Helen) of Hazlehurst; his grandchildren, Colby Hughes, Tara Hamm and T. J. Hamm; and his great grandchildren, Cylis Hamm and Kairi Hughes.
