It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clifford May of Hephzibah, Georgia, born in Mandeville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria Jean Boyd May; his parents, Hazel Amelda Strain May and Mandeville of Louisiana; his granddaughter Brianna Simmons; his brother Wayne May; his daughters, Tammy Simmons (Brian) and Jennifer Greeley (Richard); his siblings, James May, Lamar May (Drea), Glenn May, Robert May (Frankie) and Ann Stults (Annette Nichols); and his grandchildren, Joshua Simmons, Sierra Simmons, Marc Simmons, Natasha Van Arkel (Dustin), Ember Gunn (Douglas), Justin Greeley, Graysen Greeley and Brooke Greeley. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and friends.

Because of the family's concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed.
